TORONTO, June 4 /CNW/ - On Wednesday June 10, 2009, please join Ancestry.ca, Library and Archives Canada (LAC) and His Worship David Miller, Mayor of the City of Toronto, to celebrate world-first online launch of the complete Historical Canadian Censuses, 1851-1916.

The collection, which has been fully indexed and includes original document images, contains more than 32 million names and provides an historical snapshot of the growth of our great nation, from pre-Confederation to the middle of the Great War.

Ancestry.ca will also reveal the surprising results of a national survey on Canadian identity.
