Photos and partial transcripts have been posted for Purdy and Rose Cemeteries in Cumberland County; the Old Burial Ground in Dartmouth, Halifax County; Truro Cemetery, Hillside Cemetery in Londonderry and the Old Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lornvale, all in Colchester County.

1916 Census of Alberta, Manitoba & Saskatchewan

Ancestry now offers a full index and census images of the 1916 census of Alberta, Manitoba & Saskatchewan. A subscription to Ancestry (or participation in a 14 day free trial) is required.

In January Family Search offered a brief free glimpse at this census on their pilot website. It was pulled after a few days due to contractual agreements but will return for free searching at a later date (rumoured to be Dec 2011).

This census year is also available on microfilm and can be borrowed at local Canadian libraries and/or LDS Family History Centres worldwide. Microfilm numbers are listed at Library & Archives Canada
